DefiGusto

Editorial Policy

Last updated: 15 June 2026

DefiGusto covers decentralized finance, stablecoins, on-chain security, crypto markets, and regulation. This page explains exactly how our coverage is produced, reviewed, and corrected, so readers can judge it for themselves.

How we choose stories

We continuously monitor the feeds of reputable crypto and DeFi outlets, primary sources (protocol blogs, regulators, on-chain data), and security researchers. Each incoming item is scored for relevance and significance; only stories that genuinely matter to our readers move forward. The rest are dropped.

How articles are written and reviewed

We use AI-assisted tools to help draft an original English summary of a story from its sources — never a verbatim copy or machine translation. Every article is then reviewed and approved by a human editor before it is published. The editor checks the facts against the cited sources, removes hype, and is accountable for what goes live. Articles carry a visible author and reviewer byline and a publication date.

Sourcing and attribution

Claims are attributed to their sources, and articles link back to the original reporting or primary documents so you can verify them. DeFi figures (TVL, yields, fees, volumes, incident estimates) are sourced from third parties such as DefiLlama and are clearly framed as estimates that can change or be revised.

Independence

Our editorial decisions are independent of advertisers and partners. We do not accept payment to cover, promote, or suppress a story. Any sponsored content or affiliate relationship is labelled — see our Advertising Disclosure.

Accuracy and corrections

We aim to be accurate, but errors happen. When we get something wrong we fix it promptly and transparently, and significant corrections are noted on the article. See our Corrections Policy, or email corrections@defigusto.com.

Not financial advice

DefiGusto is a news publication, not an investment service. Nothing we publish is financial advice. See our Disclaimer.
